PFDC TAVANUR: KUTTIPPURAM, KERALA, India; The Scheme was implemented at Kerala Agricultural University from 01-06-1995 onwards, at the Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Tavanur. As proposed in the mandate of the scheme, experiments to popularize plasticulture application in Agriculture and Horticulture were undertaken. With this broad objective experiments on plastic mulching, drip irrigation, fertigation and protected cultivation were conducted. To study the acceptance level of farmers, field survey was conducted in various districts of Kerala. Training was imparted to farmers, Agricultural Assistants and officers of State Agrl.
